Metrolina Native American Association (MNAA), Inc. was established in 1976, and is governed by a eleven-member Board of Directors elected by the Indian community residing in the ten-county area of the Southern Piedmont know as Metrolina. There are approximately seven thousand Indians living in the area. Funding for the organization comes from the Workforce Investment Act, U.S. Department of Labor, private grants and many fundraisers held during the year.
Our community is served through culture enrichment classes, employment training, work experience opportunities and economic development assistance to help promote and preserve self-sufficiency and self-determination. All activites are coordinated with other Indian organizations and programs in the state.

Dear Prospective Donors/Sponsors:
Each year Metrolina Native American Association continues to advance the cause of preserving and promoting Native American culture. Through our programs, we have seen many lives changed for the better.
Metrolina Native American Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, continues to work to help make a difference in the lives of Native Americans in the Metrolina Area. We are currently raising funds to help produce an informative Native American calendar featuring Native American youth, dancers and singers.
Today, you can help preserve and promote Native American culture by purchasing a 2009 calendar. Proceeds will benefit the Metrolina Native American Association Culture Program and our 25th Annual Indian Trail Pow Wow.
I hope we can count on you to support our fundraiser either by purchasing a calendar or by making a charitable donation. A tax-deductible receipt will be issued for your donation. Checks can be made payable to: MNAA Our mailing address is 8001 N. Tryon St. Charlotte, N.C. 28262
With grateful appreciation,
Daniel R. Baucom Vice-Chairman
